Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia is seeking a Hybrid Bonding Interconnect (HBI) NPI instructor based in Singapore. The role combines technical instruction and product expertise, delivering classroom and hands-on training while supporting tool startups and sustaining production away from the primary BU.

You will develop training curricula and coordinate certifications across global teams. The ideal candidate will blend strong training delivery with mechanical, electrical, and software know-how,

Qualifications

• Internal candidates only
• Bachelor degree in engineering, education, or training, PLUS 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience
• If no bachelor’s degree, 6 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience
• 2 years of formal or informal experience in education or training desirable
• Nationally recognized certification in Instructional Design is a plus
• Experience with AMAT equipment a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver NPI technical training in-house and at customer locations, with domestic and international travel.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of new products and develop/update training materials.
• Lead course development, certification requirements, and training operations.
• Provide coaching to other instructors and mentor less experienced staff.
• Manage multiple training projects and coordinate structured factory on‑the‑job training.
