Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Process Engineer in Singapore to design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. You will collect data, analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and generate documentation while collaborating with vendors and R&D teams on advanced projects.

The role requires a PhD, Master, or Bachelor in Engineering with 5+ years of process development experience, especially on wet clean modules, and a track record of innovative problem solving

Qualifications

  • PhD, Master, or Bachelor degree in Engineering is required.
  • 5+ years of process development experience, particularly on wet clean modules.
  • Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving.
  • Innovative thinking and passion for iterative process/hardware development testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, collect data, analyze, and report on process experiments; measure film/surface properties and interpret data.
  • Optimize processes to push product performance to hardware limits.
  • Generate innovative ideas to tackle challenges in hybrid bonding enablement and guide prototyping.
  • Perform hardware characterization on diverse systems and implement new technologies.
