Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Hybrid Bonding Interconnect (HBI) NPI instructor to blend technical training with hands-on expertise. You will develop and deliver curricula, create student guides, and certify staff while working across Singapore and occasional Kalispell, MT.

The role emphasizes learning new tools, training development, and effective knowledge transfer with strong instruction design and safety focus. Expect travel and collaboration with BU/PM teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, education, or training, or equivalent military experience.
• 4+ years of professional semiconductor equipment experience in installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor machinery equipment.
• Preferred certification in Instructional Design or related curriculum development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NPI technical training in-house and at customer locations, requiring domestic and international travel.
• Develop and augment training curriculum, student guides, and supporting materials.
• Follow Product Development Process to ensure course readiness for tool deployment.
• Coach and mentor other instructors for class delivery and certification.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing on the first chamber build and final testing.
