Fong's Engineering & Manufacturing Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a seasoned sourcing and NPI procurement lead to guide supplier selection, RFQ processes, and cost management for new product introductions.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure supplier readiness, qualification, and on-time ramp. Five-plus years in sourcing, NPI, and supplier development are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or NPI environments.
• Experience supporting new product development and product launch activities within manufacturing industries.

Responsabilités

• Act as the procurement lead for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept through production launch.
• Support product development teams by identifying qualified suppliers meeting technical, quality, and commercial requirements.
• Lead supplier RFQ/RFP activities and coordinate quotation analysis.
• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with project objectives, timelines, and business goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for direct materials, components, assemblies, tooling, and contract manufacturing services.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, tooling investments, and supply agreements.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through competitive sourcing and VA/VE.
• Assess and mitigate supply chain risks during product development and transfer activities.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure supplier compliance and validation readiness.
