Job summary
STIGIOUS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced NPI Manufacturing Engineer to lead new product introduction programs for electronics assembly, including cable and box builds.
You will define processes, manage ECN/MDR changes, ensure DFM/ DFA, and coordinate with suppliers and production teams to achieve on-time launches and quality targets.
Applicants should have 5+ years in NPI/manufacturing engineering, ISO9001 knowledge, and proficiency with ERP and AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 5 years in NPI, manufacturing or process engineering with BOM/ECN/MDR experience.
- Knowledge of ISO9001.
- Strong knowledge of cable assembly and box build processes.
- Proficient with ERP systems and design tools (AutoCAD).
- Familiar with DFM/DFA and 8D methodologies.
- Independent yet collaborative, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams during new product introductions.
- Develop NPI project plans, milestones, and pilot/mass production readiness.
- Ensure DFM/ DFA considerations are integrated by Suppliers and Production.
- Define production processes, work instructions, and process parameters.
- Coordinate engineering builds, pilot runs, and process validation.
- Troubleshoot during engineering and pilot builds; resolve issues before production release.
- Validate new equipment, jigs, and fixtures with process engineers.
- Prepare and maintain BOM, PMP, PFMEA, and SOP documents.
- Manage ECN/MDN updates and ERP implementation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and product teams for component readiness.
- Support product qualification, testing and FAI.
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement in yield and cycle time.
- Introduce automation to scale-up processes.
