Job summary

RRecruiter in Singapore is seeking a hands-on NPI Project Engineer to lead cable and interconnect product development from prototype through mass production. You will coordinate customers, engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery and robust design.

The role requires a Bachelor in mechanical/electronics/automation and at least 3 years in TPM, NPI, or process engineering within cable or precision electronics manufacturing; CAD skills (Creo/SolidWorks) are a plus, with strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
Minimum 3 years in TPM, NPI, Project Engineering or Process Engineering within cable, connector or precision electronics manufacturing.
Experience interpreting 2D/3D drawings; GD&T is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI projects from planning and prototype builds through qualification and ramp-up.
Serve as the technical contact for customers, supporting discussions, sample approvals and audits.
Coordinate cross-functional activities across R&D, tooling, process eng., quality, production and supply chain.
Support process development and qualification for stamping, molding, assembly and testing.
Review drawings, tolerances, manufacturability requirements and coordinate engineering changes.
Lead problem-solving using FMEA, 8D, 5 Why, SPC, DOE and MSA.
Drive project documentation, process standardisation and knowledge sharing across teams.
