Job summary

Staffking Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an engineering professional to manage product development from conception to post-installation. You will coordinate sampling, testing, and supplier reviews to ensure quality and timely launches.

Candidates should read drawings and BOMs, perform root-cause analysis, and balance cost, quality, and performance while coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in product development, NPD, OEM/ODM, QC or supplier management is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and BOMs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage products from development and sampling through production and post-installation.
• Develop and improve OEM products with suppliers, including specifications and samples.
• Coordinate sampling, testing and approval with suppliers and internal teams.
• Establish QC standards, inspection criteria and tolerances.
• Review QC reports and support pre-shipment inspection and batch release.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve technical or quality issues.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze field issues and feedback to drive product improvements.
• Maintain product documentation including specs, drawings, BOMs and QC standards.
• Track NPD projects, sample progress and issue resolution to support launches.
• Drive component standardisation and improvements in quality, cost and efficiency.
• Provide technical support to internal teams during and after launches.
