Job summary

Molex is seeking an Advanced Quality Planning Engineer (NPI) to join our team in Singapore. You will collaborate with Product Development to craft and maintain a comprehensive Quality Plan that mitigates risks and ensures launches meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

You will lead front-end reviews, qualification activities, and PFMEA/DFMEA processes, ensuring robust process control plans and successful customer and supplier approvals throughout the NPI cycle.

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering or related field.
3 years’ experience in Quality Engineering or related field.
Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of metrology, GD&T, and statistics; travel 5–10%.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a product quality plan focused on voice of customer and timely quality deliverables.
Lead risk analysis and design/process FMEA reviews with inputs from quality history.
Facilitate metrology plans and qualification of new/modified parts; own gauges and fixtures.
Ensure flawless launches with process audits and qualification of new production processes.
Obtain customer and supplier approval documentation for new products.
