Job summary

STEEL ALLY RESOURCES PTE. LTD. seeks a capable Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for SMEs, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting under SFRS. You will work closely with project teams to drive reporting quality and timely closings.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, hands-on ERP systems knowledge (SAP/Oracle), advanced Excel, and strong analytical, communication, and deadline-driven skills. A CPA or degree in accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements in compliance with SFRS.

• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on statutory matters.
• Implement internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Support management with financial analysis and strategic planning.

Job description

• Handle full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with SFRS
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for engineering projects
• Ensure compliance with IRAS, ACRA, and statutory requirements (GST, ECI, Corporate Tax)
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary on all statutory matters
• Monitor cash flow, cost control, and project-based accounting performance
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
• Oversee payroll processing and CPF submissions (if required)
• Support management in financial analysis and strategic planning

Requirements:

• Degree in Account and finance / CPA or equivalent professional qualification
• At least3-5 years of relevant experience,preferably inengineering, construction, or project-based industries
• Hands‑on experience with accounting systems such as SAP /Oracle / advanced ERP systems
• Experience handling full set of accounts independently in SMEs
• Familiar with project costing and revenue recognition (percentage of completion method)
• Prior experience liaising with auditors and handling year‑end audit independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level, including pivot tables and financial modeling)
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
