CHINA MERCHANTS BANK CO., LTD is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and support our evolving network infrastructure in Singapore. The role emphasizes security policy adherence for local infrastructure and close collaboration with security teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of network engineering experience, hands-on Cisco/Juniper hardware expertise, and strong TCP/IP knowledge. Mandarin and English communication skills are essential for stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 3 years or above of experience in network engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and other core networking concepts.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security best practices.
• Good communication skills in both written and oral English and Mandarin to liaise with internal and external chinese stakeholders.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• CCNA/CCNP and HCIA/HCIP certifications will be an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Maintain and monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency).
• Configure and install firewalls, switches, routers, and other networking devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce network security best practices.
• Conduct capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and procedures.
• Participate in network-related incident response and change management.
• Provide mentorship to junior network staff (for experienced candidates).
