Job summary

AMNET Technology Pte Ltd is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will join a team focused on high availability, performance, and security for critical business operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking, plus a strong network security mindset. Office-based with project work at customer sites, offering ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista hardware.
• Experience with network security tools and best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus; knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy LANs, WANs, wireless networks and components.
• Install and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, ensure availability and reliability.
• Enforce network security policies including firewalls and VPNs.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades with patches and security configs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Document infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Provide support for incidents and service requests.
• Stay updated on emerging networking technologies.
