AMNET Technology Pte Ltd is seeking a motivated Post-Sales Network & Security Engineer to deliver network and cybersecurity solutions for customers.

You will implement, configure, and support projects at client sites, coordinating with project teams, vendors, and internal sales to ensure requirements are met.

The role emphasizes hands-on firewall, VPN, EDR, and security platform management, with post-sale knowledge transfer and ongoing service delivery.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O/ITE/Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, Networking or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT security, network security, or networking.
• Hands‑on firewall deployment, configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• EDR experience is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, routing, switching, and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain network and security solutions at customer sites.
• Deploy and manage firewalls, VPN, network security, EDR, and other security solutions.
• Perform configuration, migration, upgrades, and technology refresh projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, firewall, security, and connectivity issues.
• Conduct system health checks, configuration reviews, and security assessments.
• Provide post-sales technical support and incident resolution.
• Liaise with vendors and distributors for technical support, product issues, RMA, and escalation.
• Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and network diagrams.
• Conduct customer knowledge-transfer and technical training sessions.

Job description

AMNET Technology Pte Ltd is looking for a motivated and technically competent Post-Sales Network & Security Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of network and cybersecurity solutions for our customers.

You will work closely with customers, project teams, vendors, and internal sales teams to ensure that solutions are successfully implemented and meet the customer's technical requirements.

Role Summary

As a Post-Sales Network & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering network and security projects from implementation through to post-deployment support. The role involves working with various network and security technologies, providing technical troubleshooting, conducting customer knowledge-transfer sessions, and supporting project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain network and security solutions at customer sites.
• Deploy and manage firewalls, VPN, network security, EDR, and other security solutions.
• Perform network and security configuration, migration, upgrades, and technology refresh projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, firewall, security, and connectivity issues.
• Conduct system health checks, configuration reviews, and security assessments.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Provide post-sales technical support and assist customers with incident resolution.
• Liaise with vendors and distributors for technical support, product issues, RMA, and escalation.
• Work closely with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams to ensure a smooth handover from solution design to implementation.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, network diagrams, configuration documents, and operation runbooks.
• Conduct customer knowledge-transfer and technical training sessions.
• Support Proof of Concept (POC), testing, UAT, deployment, and project handover activities.
• Perform firewall and network security policy reviews and recommend improvements where required.
• Participate in after-hours or standby support when required for critical project activities.
• Keep up to date with the latest networking, cybersecurity technologies, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• GCE N/O/ITE/Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in IT security, network security, or networking.
• Hands‑on experience with firewall deployment, configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, routing, switching, VPN, and network security concepts.
• Knowledge of security architectures and network infrastructure.
• Experience with customer‑facing technical support, project implementation, or system deployment will be an advantage.
• Experience working with vendors, distributors, or technology partners is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, Microsoft Security, CrowdStrike, or similar technologies will have an added advantage.

Certifications

The following certifications are preferred but not mandatory:

• Cisco CCNA / CCNP
• Fortinet NSE / FCP
• Palo Alto Networks certifications
• Checkpoint Firewall certifications
• Other relevant networking or cybersecurity certifications
