Job description

Our client is a startup in the semiconductor field that designs chips for optical technology to improve speed, reliability, and energy use in modern systems. They are seeking a Network Protocol Analysis Engineer.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Interpretation and technical research of protocols such as Ethernet, UEC, and UAlink;
• Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and revising technical documentation;
• Collaborating with the R&D team to complete simulation verification and test case design based on internet protocol design requirements;
• Processing and analyzing protocol performance data with MATLAB and OPNET, and utilizing AI tools to assist with documentation and data mining;
• Organizing protocol technical documentation, technology sharing, and assisting in cross-department communication to ensure the implementation of internet protocol technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Communication Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent;
• Experience in protocol analysis, design, or verification, with experience in using Ethernet, UEC, and UAlink being highly preferred;
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SystemVerilog and Python, and the ability to use EDA tools for protocol simulation;
• Strong English reading and writing skills, with the ability to read technical documents independently;
• Strong learning ability, good communication, and teamwork skills.
