Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Networking Technician to join our West Singapore office. You will identify and deploy network solutions, set up equipment, and support daily IT operations.

The role requires 2 years in networking, a diploma or degree in a related field, and hands-on experience with routers, switches, NAS/SAN. You will work with Sales and Service teams to ensure compliant designs and secure infrastructure. Working hours are 8:30am–5:30pm, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of networking experience.
• Good knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, network security, and network hardware/software.
• Experience in setting up, testing and deployment of network equipment (routers & switches).
• Experience deploying stable server setups including NAS and SAN.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and develop suitable technologies to enhance and complement existing product solutions.
• Evaluate, test, and set up network equipment.
• Ensure tender proposals comply with required network specifications and review proposed system network designs and configurations.
• Set up and configure network components including IP cameras, SAN, servers, switches, routers, workstations, and peripherals.
• Identify and resolve network-related hardware and software issues with Service Engineers.
• Manage office network administration, including the setup, maintenance, and security of network infrastructure.
• Manage office system administration, including servers, storage, and software applications.
• Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot IT issues.
• Support cybersecurity measures by protecting computer systems and networks from cyber threats, monitoring security risks, and implementing security controls.
