CORNERSTONE GLOBAL PARTNERS PTE. LTD. seeks a Network/Firewall Engineer to manage network and firewall administration, patching, firmware upgrades and vulnerability remediation in Singapore. You will support infrastructure operations, monitor security posture and ensure compliance with SLAs.

The role covers Cisco, Fortinet, F5 platforms, patch management, patch testing, and routine maintenance. Weekend roster and on-call support may be required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network and firewall administration.
• Experience with patch and vulnerability management and troubleshooting patch/firmware issues.
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, F5 and related network infrastructure technologies.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, Arista, Check Point and Palo Alto Networks where applicable.
• VMware ESXi patching, BIOS/firmware upgrades and patch management tools.

Responsabilités

• Administer and maintain network and firewall environments (Cisco, Fortinet, F5).
• Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation for network and firewall devices.
• Troubleshoot patching, firmware upgrades and infrastructure maintenance issues.
• Plan and coordinate patch deployment activities.
• Perform VMware ESXi patching and BIOS/firmware upgrades.
• Use patch management tools (e.g., NetBot) to deploy and monitor patches.
• Automate pre- and post-patching tasks where applicable.
• Manage Cisco IOS and IOS-XE platforms.
• Analyze network flows and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Administer DNS, DHCP and IPAM.
• Maintain VLANs, LAGs, Ethernet, STP, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP routing.
• Configure and maintain standard and extended ACLs.
• Monitor logs and perform routine maintenance for availability and security.

We are seeking a Network/Firewall Engineer to manage network and firewall administration, patching, firmware upgrades and vulnerability remediation. The role involves maintaining network infrastructure security, troubleshooting patch-related issues and supporting infrastructure operations in accordance with operational and service-level requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain network and firewall environments, including Cisco, Fortinet, F5 and other relevant network security platforms.

• Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation for network and firewall devices.

• Troubleshoot issues arising from patching, firmware upgrades and infrastructure maintenance.

• Conduct patch assessments and recommend, plan and coordinate deployment activities.

• Perform VMware ESXi patching and support BIOS and firmware upgrades.

• Use patch management tools, such as NetBot or equivalent tools, to support patch deployment and monitoring.

• Automate pre- and post-patching tasks where applicable.

• Manage Cisco platforms, including IOS and IOS-XE.

• Analyse network flows and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

• Administer and support DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM).

• Maintain switching and routing environments, including VLANs, link aggregation, Ethernet, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.

• Configure and maintain standard and extended access control lists (ACLs).

• Monitor logs and perform routine maintenance to support network availability, security and performance.

Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience in network and firewall administration.

• Practical experience in patch management, vulnerability management and troubleshooting patch- or firmware-related issues.

• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, F5 and relevant network infrastructure technologies.

• Knowledge of network security technologies, including Cisco ACI, Arista, Check Point and Palo Alto Networks, where applicable to the operating environment.

• Experience in VMware ESXi patching, BIOS and firmware upgrades, and patch management tools.

• Strong understanding of network flows, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, switching, routing and access control lists.

• Experience working in an SLA-driven environment.

• Willingness and availability to support scheduled weekend duties on a roster basis and weekday on-call support when required.
