Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced Network and Firewall Administrator to manage Cisco, Fortinet, and F5 environments. The role emphasizes patching, vulnerability management, and firmware upgrades to keep the infrastructure secure and up-to-date.

The ideal candidate will bring 8-10 years of network operations experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a SLA-driven environment with on-call rotations, including weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of Experience in Network and Firewall Administration.
• Experience in SLA-driven environments and on-call support.
• Willingness to work weekends as per roster and adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Network Administration of Cisco, Fortinet, F5 environment.
• Knowledge in ACI, Cisco, Arista, F5, Checkpoint, Palo Alto is necessary.
• Patch management and Vulnerability Management (Must Have).
• Troubleshooting skills in patching/firmware upgrade related issues (Must Have).
• Extensive Experience in ESXi patching.
• Experience on Patch management tools like NetBot, other similar tools etc.
• Perform Patch assessment and recommend/plan deployment.
• Experience on Automation of Pre and Post patching tasks.
• Bios upgrades and firmware upgrades.
• Candidate Should have Experience on Cisco Platforms (IOS/IOS-XE).
• Candidate must have capability to understand Network Flows.
• Candidate Should have Strong experience and understanding on DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
• Candidate Should have Solid experience on Switching (VLAN,Bundling Mechanisms, Ethernet, STP Flavours) and Routing (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP).
• Candidate Should have Good Exposure on Standard/Extended Access-lists.
