Job summary

Search Index Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to manage and support enterprise LAN/WAN, data center, and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS). The role requires hands-on work with Cisco, Fortinet, and Check Point devices and on-call rotation.

You will configure routers/switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks, ensure network security, and participate in DR/BCP activities, while maintaining documentation and supporting hybrid cloud connectivity.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related discipline required.
• Experience managing enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet and Check Point firewalls/routers/switches.
• Experience with VMware, Windows Server and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, routing & switching, VPN and Wireless LAN.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 operational support and participate in on-call rotation.
• Configure and maintain Cisco routers/switches, Fortinet and Check Point firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.

• Deploy and manage load balancers and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and network incidents, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Perform upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Maintain network documentation, inventory records, and standard operating procedures.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
