Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a Network Software Engineering Lead to design, deploy, and manage complex data communication networks across LANs, WANs and cloud environments.

The role requires 10+ years of experience with Cisco routing and switching, Meraki, SD-WAN, Azure networking, and security architectures. You will collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering and leadership.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, cloud networking, and security policies.
• Experience with vendor support and incident management.
• Experience with Azure networking and SD-WAN architectures.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage Cisco routers and switches in LAN/WAN.
• Monitor network performance and security using Meraki Dashboard, SD-WAN vManage.
• Perform firmware upgrades and configuration changes during maintenance windows.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues on Catalyst, Meraki, and SD-WAN devices.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for escalations and troubleshooting.
• Validate routing tables, ACLs, VPNs, QoS, and firewall policies.
• Update network documentation and incident logs with troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Design and manage Azure VNets, subnets, hub-spoke topologies.
• Configure Site-to-Site VPNs, ExpressRoute circuits.
• Implement Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Front Door, Traffic Manager.
