Job summary

Good co India seeks an experienced Enterprise Network Architect to design scalable, secure architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will lead modernization initiatives across data centers, SD-WAN, SDN, and cloud networking.

Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions, define standards, and mentor engineering staff. Strong vendor experience and certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 8 to 13 years of enterprise network engineering and architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure enterprise network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead network transformation initiatives, including data center modernization, SD-WAN, and SDN, and cloud networking.
• Define network standards, architecture frameworks, best practices, and governance policies.
• Design and implement routing, switching, WAN, LAN, wireless, and data center networking solutions.
• Architect secure connectivity solutions including firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust, segmentation, and network access control.
• Plan and execute network migrations, upgrades, capacity planning, and technology refresh projects.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver integrated enterprise solutions.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and recommend architecture improvements aligned with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Develop high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for enterprise networks.
• Create network architecture documentation, low-level and high-level design documents, diagrams, and technical standards.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and ITIL change management processes.
• Engage with vendors, stakeholders, and business leaders to define technical roadmaps and solution strategies.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8 to 13 years of experience in enterprise network engineering and architecture.
• Proven experience designing large-scale enterprise, data center, and hybrid cloud network infrastructures.
• Strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and enterprise networking technologies.
• Hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN, SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, and spine-leaf architectures.
• Experience designing cloud networking solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of network security, Zero Trust architecture, firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and access control.
• Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with SDN, VMware NSX, load balancing, monitoring tools, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• CCIE or CCDE certification preferred; AWS Advanced Networking, Azure AZ-700, PCNSE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or CISSP certifications are an added advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline; a master's degree is preferred for senior architecture roles.
