Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Network Services Engineer / Lead for a 2-year direct contract in Singapore. You will deliver cloud deployment support, troubleshoot cloud-scale networking issues, and manage on-call duties while coordinating across teams.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and hands-on skills in SDN, Java, Python, and Linux-based environments. Applicants with CCNP/JNCIP and data centre background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in CS or CE required.
• 2 years of relevant data centre experience for Engineer.
• 5 years of relevant data centre experience for Senior Engineer.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support and deployment activities for the customer’s Cloud environment.

Overview

Network Services Engineer / Lead - Software (2 Years Direct Contract)

Responsibilities

• Deliver support and deployment activities for the customer’s Cloud environment.
• Troubleshooting issues on cloud-scale or backbone networks. Deliver support for software defined networking services such as SDN, Azure Front Door (AFD), distributed denial of service (DDoS), domain name service (DNS) Express Route, etc.
• Standby on-call duties for out-of-hours support

Technical Skill Sets

• Programming languages: Kusto, Java, Python, Perl.
• Operating System: Linux OS
• Virtual Networking: SDN, VNET, DNS, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Load balancer
• Machine Readable Formats: JSON and XML
• Certifications: CCNP/JNCIP (Plus)

Prerequisites

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• 2 years of relevant working experience in large scale data centre for Engineer
• 5 years of relevant working experience large scale data centre for Senior Engineer
• Excellent communication skills and a team player with ability to build solid relationships across teams and business functions.
• Strong leadership and experience in leading a team can be considered for lead role.
