Job summary

Percept Solutions is seeking an experienced L3 Network Engineer to support mission-critical infrastructure for a hyperscale data centre operator. You will lead the diagnosis and restoration of network incidents, coordinating with carriers, OEMs and vendors to maintain availability across a live production environment.

Key requirements include 6+ years in enterprise or data centre networking, CCNP/CCIE or JNCIP/JNCIE certification, hands-on knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs and network

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise or data centre networking experience with ownership of L3 incidents.
• CCNP/CCIE or JNCIP/JNCIE certification.
• Hands-on knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs and network segmentation.
• Experience with at least one firewall platform (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes; ITIL Foundation preferred.
• Available for a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus/ACI or Arista fabrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve L3 incidents involving switches, routers, firewalls and network security platforms.
• Support secure remote access, VPN and privileged connectivity.
• Manage carrier, internet, private line and Wi‑Fi connectivity issues.
• Administer DNS, DHCP, NTP, routing, network segmentation and load balancing.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for P1/P2 incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration records and operational runbooks.
• Serve as a primary or secondary escalation contact in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.

• Strong hands‑on knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs and network segmentation.
• Experience with at least one firewall platform, such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA or Check Point.
• Familiarity with formal incident and change management processes; ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
• Availability for a 24x7 on‑call rotation.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus/ACI or Arista data centre fabrics is an advantage.
