Job summary

NTT Singapore is seeking an experienced L3 Network Security Engineer to manage and secure a large-scale enterprise network. You will work on Cisco infrastructure, firewalls from Palo Alto/Check Point/Fortinet, Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM and F5 load balancers.

The role emphasizes automation using Python and Ansible, RCA for incident resolution, and collaboration with infrastructure and security teams in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Network / Network Security Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting Cisco network infrastructure.
• Experience across Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Infoblox and F5.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, LAN/WAN and VLAN.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, network security and security policy management.
• Experience with F5 load balancing and application delivery technologies.
• Experience with Infoblox DNS, DHCP and IPAM.
• Strong network automation experience using Python and Ansible.
• Strong L3 troubleshooting, incident resolution and RCA experience.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments helpful.

We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on Cisco networking expertise to support and manage complex enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L3 network and network security engineering support for complex enterprise infrastructure.
• Manage, configure, troubleshoot and optimise Cisco network infrastructure, including routers and switches.
• Support and troubleshoot network security technologies including Palo Alto, Check Point and Fortinet firewalls.
• Support F5 load balancers and application delivery infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Infoblox DNS, DHCP and IPAM services.
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, ACLs and other Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
• Handle complex L3 network/security incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive issues through to resolution.
• Perform network and security configuration changes, upgrades, migrations, patching and implementation activities.
• Develop and enhance network automation using Python and Ansible to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual activities.
• Monitor network availability, security, performance and capacity across production environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, firewall, routing, latency, packet loss and application traffic issues.
• Work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, application and operations teams on technical issues and implementations.
• Participate in major incident management and provide technical expertise for critical production issues.
• Maintain network/security documentation, configurations, diagrams, SOPs and operational procedures.
• Ensure network infrastructure complies with enterprise security, resilience, availability and operational standards.

  Strong hands-on experience supporting Cisco network infrastructure.

  Strong experience across multiple network and security technologies including Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, Infoblox and F5.

  Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, LAN/WAN and VLAN.

  Hands-on experience with firewalls, network security and security policy management.

  Experience with F5 load balancing and application delivery technologies.

  Experience with Infoblox DNS, DHCP and IPAM.

  Strong network automation experience using Python and Ansible.

  Strong L3 troubleshooting, incident resolution and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience.

  Experience supporting highly available, business-critical production environments.

  CCIE certification is highly preferred.

  Experience within banking, financial services, investment management or other large enterprise environments will be advantageous.

Certifications

CCIE certification is highly preferred, particularly:

• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE-EI)
• CCIE Security
• CCNP Enterprise / CCNP Security may also be considered
• Relevant certifications in Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet or F5 will be advantageous
