Job summary

REERACOEN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Network Engineer for a 1-year contract to support regional and local network operations.

The role covers setup of network devices, maintenance of inventories, and coordination of maintenance renewals, with emphasis on SD-WAN and security tooling. The successful candidate will oversee daily network operations, performance monitoring, and end-user support in a global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in a related major.
• At least 2-3 years of work experience as a Network Engineer.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN network design.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot network-related issues.
• Knowledge of security and patch management tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide effective user support and troubleshoot network-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Regional and Local Network Support: Set up and configure network devices and services, including routers, switches, and wireless access points; support IT network infrastructure.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain hardware and software asset inventories; coordinate annual maintenance renewals; maintain network policies, procedures, and diagrams.
• Daily Operations Support: Manage and administer the regional network; monitor availability and performance; manage network connectivity in the server room; maintain software and security updates; troubleshoot network issues and perform service recovery.
• Secondary Support: Assist PC Support team with end-user support, PC setup, troubleshooting; support patch management system; monitor vulnerabilities and work with Security team on remediation activities.

Our client is a reputable Japanese company specialising in global logistics solutions. They are currently seeking a Network Engineer (1-Year Contract).

Responsibilities

Regional and Local Network Support

• Set up and configure network devices and services, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
• Support matters related to the IT network infrastructure.

Administrative Tasks

• Maintain hardware and software asset inventories.
• Coordinate annual maintenance renewals.
• Maintain network-related policies, procedures, and diagrams.

Daily Operations Support

• Manage and administer the regional network.
• Monitor network availability and performance.
• Manage and maintain network connectivity in the server room.
