Job summary

NTT Data Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead and support enterprise network projects centered on Cisco ACI, routing, switching, wireless, and firewall deployments.

You will drive migration plans, integrate service appliances, and ensure performance and compliance 24x7. The role requires hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI, Palo Alto firewalls, Riverbed, and extensive WAN/LAN management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years managing LAN and WAN infrastructures.
• 8+ years experience in routing, switching, Riverbed, and wireless technologies.
• 8+ years experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies.
• 5+ years experience working with Cisco ACI.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Cisco ACI network architecture components to optimize data centre network performance.
• Develop and execute migration plans from traditional data centre network designs to Cisco ACI environments.
• Integrate service appliances such as Application Delivery Controllers and Palo Alto firewalls into Cisco ACI deployments.
• Analyse and manage inter-tenant and intra-tenant traffic flows and contracts to ensure secure and efficient network segmentation.
• Configure and troubleshoot L2 outs, L3 outs, and VMM integration within data centre networks.
• Manage routing, switching, wireless LAN/WAN infrastructure using protocols including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and standards such as IEEE 802.11a, 802.1x, STP, MSTP, RSTP, HSRP, and VRRP.
• Ensure all network configurations comply with established standards and review log files for network health monitoring.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise-level, mission-critical network infrastructure components including SD-WAN and wireless systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful network projects aligned with business objectives.
• Own and resolve escalated support tickets and service requests using ServiceNow, documenting all actions and outcomes.
• Apply ITIL and Change Management processes to maintain network stability and service quality.
• Communicate effectively with customers, end users, partners, and associates to provide excellent customer service and technical support.
• Adapt to changing environments, work independently, and demonstrate flexibility including willingness to travel as required.
• Participate in rotating on-call support, manage support queues, and perform network system analysis and reporting in a 24x7 operational setting.

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 8 years managing LAN and WAN infrastructures
• Minimum 8 years experience in routing, switching, Riverbed, and wireless technologies
• Minimum 8 years experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies
• Minimum 5 years experience working with Cisco ACI

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Hands-on experience with VELO Cloud and wireless technologies
• Proven adaptive communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Project experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN) infrastructure and networking
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
