Job summary

Data-Connect-Technologies-Pte.-Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Network Engineer to provide L2 support for LAN, WAN, firewall, and VPN connectivity, and to troubleshoot routing and security incidents.

You will handle escalations from NOC, perform approved configuration changes on routers, switches and VPN devices, and support VLAN, ACL, NAT and monitoring with NetGain. Requirements: 3–5 years in network operations and a Diploma or Bachelor’s in IT or Computer Engineering; experience in managed services

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of network engineering or network operations experience.
• Experience in managed services, NOC, or enterprise support environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and network security incidents.
• Handle escalations from NOC and elevate complex issues to L3 or vendors.
• Perform approved configuration changes on routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN devices.
• Support VLAN, routing, ACL, NAT, firewall policy, and VPN changes.
• Monitor network devices using tools such as NetGain.
• Respond to alerts related to availability, utilization, latency, packet loss, CPU, memory, and link status.
• Assist with SNMP, Syslog, and device onboarding into monitoring platforms.
• Support planned maintenance, migrations, cutovers, and post-change validation.
• Maintain network documentation, incident notes, change records, and handover documents.
