Job summary

Xsoft Pte Ltd, a leading AI cluster and cloud services provider in Singapore, seeks a network engineer to design and deploy robust network infrastructure. You will analyze requirements, plan IP transit and peering strategies, and optimise routing for low latency, ensuring reliable data center connectivity and operation support.

The role requires hands-on experience with major vendors (Nvidia/Mellanox, Cisco, Arista, Huawei), Linux administration, and familiarity with DDoS, NetFlow, VPN/IPSec.

Qualifications

• Singaporean and SPR are welcome to apply; WP/SP/EP not applicable.
• Bachelor's Degree or above in Telecommunication/Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with Nvidia/Mellanox, Cisco, Arista and Huawei products.
• Strong knowledge in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN and Segment Routing.
• Experience in Peering / IP Transit and Data Center connectivity.
• Exposure to DDoS deployment, familiar with netflow and flow spec, VPN/IPSec.
• Systems administration experience with Linux.
• Network certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP) is a plus.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and negotiation with internal/external stakeholders.
• On-call support may be required occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Analyse technical requirement, perform network design, planning and setup of network systems.
• Propose solution related to IP Transit / Peering to have a diverse connectivity.
• Analyse traffic data, capacity planning for future expansion and optimise routing performance to lowest latency.
• Evaluate and conduct testing on new tools to enhance route optimisation.
• Coordinate with partner to analysis and performance tuning on traffic routing.
• Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration, policies, procedures and service records.
• Manage the inventory of network devices.
• Provide network operation support, problem determination and troubleshoot network incidents.
• Participate and provide technical support in network implementation projects wherever and whenever required.

Requirements

4. Strong technical knowledge in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN and Segment Routing.
5. Experience in Peering / IP Transit and Data Center connectivity.
6. Exposure to DDoS deployment, familiar with netflow and flow spec, VPN / IPSec.
7. Systems administration experience with Linux.
8. Network related certification (e.g CCNA/CCNP) is a plus.
9. Able to work independently and fast paced environment.
10. Good communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
11. Required to provide on-call support occasionally.

Skills below are optional but preferable:

• Experienced in Nvidia GPU network design, deployment and operation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the script languages: Python, Shell.
