Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Network Automation Engineer in Singapore to design and implement scalable automation for multi-vendor networks. The role focuses on Ansible-based automation, Python scripting, and CI/CD integration to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and testing.

You will work with Cisco/Juniper/Arista environments, implement REST APIs and YANG interfaces, and contribute to reliable, auditable automation pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in Network Automation or Network Engineering.
• Hands-on with Ansible Playbooks, Roles, AWX/Automation Controller.
• Strong Python scripting skills.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networks.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, EVPN-VXLAN.
• Experience with REST APIs, NETCONF, RESTCONF, YANG, JSON, YAML.
• Exposure to Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker/Podman.
• Familiarity with NetBox, Infoblox; CCNP/CCIE/Cisco DevNet useful.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable Ansible Playbooks, Roles and collections for multi-vendor network automation.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, upgrades, backups and workflows.
• Develop idempotent automation with error handling and rollback.
• Automate config compliance, drift detection and remediation across devices.
• Develop automation frameworks and follow coding standards and version control.
