Job summary

Equinix in Singapore seeks a seasoned Network Operations/Engineering professional to design, plan, and operate scalable infrastructure across data centers and interconnection, applying automation and AI-driven insights to improve efficiency and reliability.

You will implement Python scripts and REST-based automation, contribute to AI-enabled monitoring, and focus on capacity management, deployment, and lifecycle improvements for seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network Operations or Network Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and operations.
• Demonstrated experience in coding and automation applied to real operational tooling, Python preferred.
• Experience in AI-driven operations (AIOps) required.

Responsibilities

• Deployment of new hardware (Multi-vendor) per documented guidelines.
• Manage deployment project life cycle end to end.
• Support Network platform operations and participate in standby.
• Participate in port, device, and customer migrations as needed.
• Perform deployments of network tools and new features, and own feature enablement.
• Builds and applies automation (Python, scripting) to streamline deployment processes.
