Job summary

Temasek Shophouse seeks a Network and Infrastructure Engineer to manage the organisation's network and IT infrastructure, delivering secure, reliable performance. You will work closely with users, vendors and MSPs to maintain a high‑performing environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on support, cybersecurity initiatives, and end-user IT services, with a focus on Fortinet firewalls, Aruba devices, and Microsoft 365 integration within a mission‑driven organisation in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in network and infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience administering Fortinet firewalls and Aruba Cloud wireless and switches solutions.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows endpoints and enterprise IT environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, collaborate across IT areas.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for the organisation’s network infrastructure.
• Manage relationship with outsourced network service providers and ensure SLAs.
• Review, validate and coordinate network changes, upgrades, maintenance with vendors.
• Provide technical guidance for Fortinet and Aruba infrastructure.
• Monitor network health and coordinate problem resolution.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives including incident response.
• Support Microsoft 365 and IT infrastructure as required.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for complex IT issues.
• Participate in infrastructure and cybersecurity projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.

Designation: Network and Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a Network and Infrastructure Engineer for Temasek Shophouse who will manage and support the organisation’s network and broader IT infrastructure while providing general IT support. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing IT environment and will work closely with users, vendors and managed service providers. The ideal individual must be motivated, hands-on and enjoy working within an environment that is mission-driven and community-oriented.

The Network and Infrastructure Engineer will support the team in achieving its shared goal to ensure all activities can be carried out efficiently for Temasek Shophouse to be enjoyed both as a public space as well as an office space for employees and external co-workers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for the organisation’s network infrastructure.
• Manage the relationship with outsourced network service providers, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and delivery of agreed service levels.
• Review, validate and coordinate network changes, upgrades and maintenance activities performed by vendors.
• Provide technical guidance and support for Fortinet firewalls and Aruba wired and wireless infrastructure.
• Monitor network health, investigate recurring issues and coordinate problem resolution with vendors.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, including network security, vulnerability remediation and incident response.
• Support Microsoft 365, endpoint devices, and IT infrastructure as required.
• Provide Level 2/3 technical support for complex IT issues and assist users when necessary.
• Participate in infrastructure and cybersecurity projects.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams and operational procedures.

Key Attributes & Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in network and infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience administering Fortinet firewalls and Aruba Cloud wireless and switches solutions.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPN, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows endpoints and enterprise IT environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, collaborate and contribute across multiple areas of IT in a small team.
• Knowledge of, or certification in, the following areas will be an advantage:
• Fortinet Certified Professional or equivalent.
• Aruba Certified Switching Associate or equivalent.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or related networking certifications.
