Job summary

HANWHA OFFSHORE ENGINEERING SERVICES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced NDT Lead to manage yard NDT activities, review inspection findings, and ensure adherence to project codes and client specifications.

The role includes mentoring engineers and inspectors, developing NDT procedures, and conducting supplier audits to maintain quality in EPC yard projects. The ideal candidate holds an NDT Level III and a Mechanical/Materials/Metallurgy degree, with at least a decade of EPC yard experience

Qualifications

Degree and NDT Level III (ISO 9712) required.
10 years' experience in structural and piping fabrication yard.
Experience managing yard NDT activities in EPC projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise NDT personnel and review inspection findings and reports.
Ensure compliance with codes and client specs (ASME, AWS, ISO, API, DNV, ABS).
Coordinate yard NDT activities with sub-contractors and provide technical support.
Mentor NDT engineers, inspectors and QC inspectors in NDT.
Develop/review/approve NDT procedures and techniques per project requirements.
Audit NDT contractors to ensure compliance and calibrate equipment and techniques.
Conduct risk assessments for NDT work and lead yard risk processes.
Deliver project-specific inductions/workshops on NDT requirements.
