Job summary

HANWHA OFFSHORE ENGINEERING SERVICES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a senior Welding Engineer to lead all welding activities for EPC offshore projects, ensuring compliance with multiple codes and client specifications.

The role involves ISO 3834 deployment, WPS/PQR/WPQ management, and collaboration with clients and third-party inspectors. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in structural and piping fabrication yards, hands-on experience with diverse materials, and strong leadership,

Qualifications

• Degree in Welding, Metallurgy, Materials, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural and piping fabrication yards.
• Strong EPC, offshore, marine, oil & gas, or heavy fabrication project experience.
• Hands-on experience with carbon steel, stainless steels, duplex steels, and other weldable materials.
• Deep knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW, FCAW).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all welding engineering activities for EPC projects.
• Establish and maintain the ISO 3834 Welding Management System.
• Develop and approve WPS, PQR, and WPQ records.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, ISO, API, DNV, and ABS.
