Job summary

Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Naval Architect Engineer to contribute to engineering design, stability analysis and project support for marine assets. The role involves calculations, test procedures, and liaison with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or related field.
• Understanding of ship stability, hydrostatics, structures.
• Familiarity with industry software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Naval Architecture calculations and analysis.
• Prepare test procedures (inclining experiment, weighing and Sea Trial).
• Handle contract-bidding engineering specifications and enquiry.
• Monitor progress of drawings, documents and purchase specifications.
• Perform quality assurance check of drawings.
• Liaise with Production Department to resolve site problems.
• Liaise with Project Management Department to ensure on-time delivery.
• Interact with customers, vendors and regulatory bodies on engineering design matters.
• Direct and guide the activities of subordinates assigned to him.
• Any other assigned duties and responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• Understanding of ship stability, hydrostatics, ship structures, and marine engineering principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino, Maxsurf, OrcaFlex, MOSES, or similar engineering software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of offshore and marine industry standards is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
