Job summary

CHINT Singapore APAC invites a technically grounded business development professional to drive market presence in the MV and electrical distribution domain, focusing on end-to-end tendering and winning large-scale projects.

You will leverage existing industry networks to contribute in business development, strategic thinking, and sales, while balancing commercial and technical aspects.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is a must.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in the electrical industry.
• Exposure to tendering: BQs, SLD interpretation, technical compliance tables.
• Strong willingness to learn power distribution equipment complexities.
• Professional writing and presentation skills are essential for winning proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of technical and commercial bids for MV switchgear and transformer projects.
• Implement sales strategies to promote CHINT’s portfolio and drive revenue growth.
• Act as the technical contact for contractors and EPCs with tailored engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with factory/headquarters for pricing and value engineering to win bids.
• Identify and prospect clients in datacenters, renewables, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Ensure seamless handover of won tenders to the Project Management team.
