Job summary

UOB is seeking an experienced Murex Collateral Consultant to support collateral-related delivery across risk, operations, IT, and business users. You will work with Murex collateral management, margin calls, and downstream integrations to ensure accurate collateral configurations.

The role requires strong techno-functional skills, stakeholder management, and hands-on testing across SIT/UAT, with post-go-live support and clear status updates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Murex experience with collateral management and delivery.
• Strong functional understanding of Murex Collateral Management including margin calls and reporting.
• Experience across cash and securities collateral, CSA setup, and eligibility rules.
• Knowledge of collateral processes across OTC derivatives, securities financing, FX, rates, and other products.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating into Murex configuration and test scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of Murex workflows, events, impacts, OSP, static data, market data, trade lifecycle, and downstream integration.

Responsibilities

• Support Murex Collateral Management enhancements, migrations, upgrades, integration, or BAU changes.
• Gather requirements and define functional solutions with stakeholders.
• Configure collateral functionality across agreements, eligibility rules, margin call processing, collateral movements, substitutions, disputes, interest, and reporting.
• Analyse collateral workflows, exposure calculations, settlement flows, and downstream data requirements.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Back Office, Operations, Finance, and IT teams to align collateral processes across the full trade lifecycle.
• Support integration between Murex collateral and downstream systems, including reporting, settlement, accounting, regulatory, and operational platforms.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test cases, issue logs, and user support documentation.
• Execute and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, test evidence review, and business sign-off.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, including breaks, workflow exceptions, margin call discrepancies, and interface failures.
• Provide status updates, risk escalation, and delivery updates to project managers and senior stakeholders.
