Job summary

Unison Group is seeking an experienced Murex Technical Consultant to join our Capital Markets Technology team in Singapore. You will drive architecture, development, and integration of Murex-based solutions across front-to-back trade processing.

You will develop Murex modules, implement workflows, and design interfaces with external systems while ensuring system integrity, performance, and high availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with Murex architecture, development and integration across front-to-back environments.
• Hands-on in Murex modules, workflows and API development.
• Strong Unix/Linux, SQL (Oracle/Sybase) and scripting skills.
• Proficient in Java, Python or C for integration work.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes (FX, IRD, EQD, FI, Commodities).

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Murex modules (MXML, Datamart, workflows, feeders, interfaces).
• Implement workflow enhancements to support new business requirements.
• Create and maintain Murex APIs and custom modules for system integration.
• Design interfaces between Murex and external/internal systems (risk, finance, accounting).
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies for Murex infrastructure.
• Provide L2/L3 support for Murex incidents and issues.
• Monitor and optimize Murex performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Manage DEV/UAT/PROD environments including patching, releases, and environment refreshes.
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate builds, deployments, and provisioning; contribute to CI/CD improvements.
• Work with Business Analysts, Functional Consultants, and Project Managers to translate business needs into technical specs.
• Engage with traders, risk managers, and operations users to understand issues and deliver quick solutions.
