Job summary

NHG Health is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support oncology clinical research activities. You will recruit patients, assist in screening and consent, and ensure data quality and ethics compliance throughout the study lifecycle.

The role requires strong organizational skills, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple projects. Mandarin/Malay/Tamil language proficiency is preferred for client communication within the project.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Working experience in academic or clinical research would be advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Knowledge in research ethics and preferably completed the CITI.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Team-oriented with strong coordination and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and multi-task across several projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Principal Investigators (PI) from medical oncology in clinical research activities.
• Recruit patients in the clinic and assist in screening, recruitment and consent taking of participants.
• Manage research data, data entry, data cleaning and ethics/legal compliance.
• Liaise with internal and external agencies during the course of work.
• Monitor the financial aspects of the assigned study and advise the PI.
• Ensure timely submission of progress reports to agencies and renewal of ECOS approvals.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
