Ng Teng Fong General Hospital is seeking a qualified Clinical Research Coordinator to support principal investigators in overseeing study conduct, ensure ethical and regulatory compliance, and assist with data collection and documentation.
The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting; experience with phlebotomy and MS Office is preferred.
To support the principal investigators of clinical research studies by facilitating study matters to ensure proper conduct and implementation of all research activities.
Ensure that all study practices and procedures (e.g. Screening, recruitment, follow-up, specimen taking and collection, data entry) are conducted in accordance with the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice, other applicable regulatory/ethical requirements, standard operating procedures, and hospital policies.
Be able to manage multiple projects, e.g. data collection, run simple statistic calculations etc),reporting/filing of data sheets on regular basis and to cater to specific study requirements as needed. (project by project basis)
Ensure accurate and complete source documentation, subject logs, subject transport reimbursement logs, and all other pertinent research documents and ensure that they are audit compliant.
Maintenance of files of completed projects.
Maintain confidentiality with regard to patient information and other sensitive data.
Coordinate and communicate with relevant internal and external agencies,study investigators and team members to facilitate projectsas and when needed and ensure successful implementation of clinical studies.
Coordinate in recruiting/consenting/ interim & final analysis/audits of projectsas and when needed.
Independent monitoring of the clinical projects to ensure timeline and deliverables are met.
Perform other duties as directed by supervisors, principal investigator and HOD including work areas not mentioned here.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing/Health Sciences or relevant fields
Ability to perform phlebotomy preferred.
Hands on experience with inpatient and/or clinic work processes preferred.
Proficiency in MS office applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to speak local languages is preferred
Strong initiative and drive in a fast-paced setting
