Job summary

Epergne Solutions in Singapore seeks a MSSQL Database Administrator to manage enterprise databases and data warehouse environments. You will install, configure, and maintain MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle databases, and ensure performance, security, and high availability.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong SQL Server expertise, and hands-on experience with backup/recovery, clustering, and AlwaysOn.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in database administration or data warehouse environments.
• Strong experience in MS SQL Server.
• Knowledge of MySQL and/or Oracle databases.
• Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Understanding of Windows server environments.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., NetBackup).
• Knowledge of clustering and high availability (SQL Server AlwaysOn, failover clustering).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
• Monitor and optimize database performance and query efficiency.
• Manage backup and recovery processes using enterprise tools.
• Support high availability and failover configurations (e.g., clustering, AlwaysOn).
• Troubleshoot database issues and ensure system stability.
• Implement and support database security and access controls.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams.
