Job summary

Amgen in Singapore is hiring a Process Development Engineer (MSAT) to provide scientific and technical support within the Process Development group at one of the world’s leading biotech manufacturing facilities. This role involves technology transfer, process qualification, and real-time process analytics.

You will collaborate with drug substance technology teams, QA, NPI, and manufacturing to ensure alignment with program needs, while applying strong communication skills in deviations and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering/biotechnology or related field.
• 2+ years of directly related experience in commercial manufacturing within biotech/pharma.
• Experience with regulated environments (cGMP).
• Strong technical and analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate non-routine activities including technology transfer and process qualification.
• Support NPI and lifecycle changes by aligning process design with site capabilities.
• Assist make-a-batch exercises to assess facility fit and identify gaps.
• Support feasibility and control strategy development for new equipment/tech.
• Lead investigations and communicate findings to teams and leadership where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain tech transfer efficiency tools and templates.
