Job summary

Lonza Singapore is seeking an MSAT Lead Engineer (DSP, Tech Transfer) to orchestrate the transfer of purification stages into the Lonza Singapore production facility. You will lead preparation, execution, monitoring and post-campaign activities for purification processes, and investigate process trends and deviations.

You will train and support MFG operators, review batch records, and collaborate with QA/QC and cross-functional teams to ensure robust manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in biotechnology process development or related manufacturing environment.
• Graduate degree in chemical/biochemical engineering, biochemistry/chemistry/microbiology or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with purification techniques and equipment.
• Proficient in Excel and statistical data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer of purification stages into Lonza Singapore facility; collaborate with MSAT team, customer affiliates, and MFG/QA/QC.
• Oversee preparation, execution, monitoring and post-campaign activities for purification processes.
• Review batch records and provide input to technical writing specialists.
• Identify training needs and develop materials for MFG operators.
• Support plant start-up, pilot runs, investigations, and technical reports for deviations.
