Job summary

Lonza Singapore is seeking an MSAT Lead Engineer (DSP, Tech Transfer) to drive timely transfer of purification stages into the Lonza Singapore production facility. You will lead technology transfer activities with MSAT team members, customer technical experts, and cross‑functional partners to ensure a smooth start-up and commercial scale-up.

Qualifications

• Over 5+ years of experience in biotechnology process development, process support, or related manufacturing.
• Graduate degree in chemical/biochemical engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on purification experience and familiarity with process batch records.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer of purification stages into Lonza Singapore facility and coordinate with MSAT team and customer experts.
• Lead preparation, execution, process monitoring and post-campaign activities for purification stages.
• Review purification batch records and provide technical input to MFG documentation specialists.
• Identify training needs and prepare training materials for MFG operators on purification batch records.
• Support plant start-up and pilot runs; author technical reports for deviation close-out.
• Design and perform small-scale experiments to support technology transfer or investigations.
• Follow all applicable lab safety policies.
• Prepare APR and CPV summary reports and support BLA filing.
• Maintain process databases and monitor batch-to-batch consistency.
• Support inspections and audits by customers and regulatory authorities.
