Job summary

NTT Data Singapore is seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to manage MSSQL 2012/2014/2016/2017 environments. The role includes production support, proactive monitoring, and on-call rotations as part of a 24/7 schedule.

Candidate should contribute to automation of monitoring and maintenance tasks, assist with change requests, and coordinate with application teams for log shipping setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MSSQL 2012/2014/2016/2017 Database Administration.
• Participate in the 24/7 rotational shift including weekends.
• Perform production support administration tasks including proactive monitoring, maintenance and on-call support to ensure availability and performance requirements are met.
• Involve in operational automation process that covers monitoring, maintenance and standard changes.
• Basic knowledge to set up log shipping.
• Coordinate with application team to setup log shipping.
• Prepare the documents to raise Change Request.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for MSSQL databases, including on-call rotations.
• Monitor performance, availability, and incident responses to minimize downtime.
• Automate repetitive maintenance and monitoring tasks where possible.
• Assist in change requests and release activities for database changes.
