Job summary

Samsung SDS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled .NET web developer to design, develop, and secure scalable web applications and APIs on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement robust security, and maintain cloud services.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of web development working experience.
• Cloud development experience with Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Azure Storage).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions workflows, with secure CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with Python, Node.js, Webpack, npm, Jest, Jasmine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for application integration testing, user acceptance test and implementation roll-out.
• Create user documentation and provide training to end-users.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for existing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Cloud development experience with Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Azure Storage).
• Hands-on experience with application and DB setup on web servers, including secure data encryption.
• Experience creating and managing GitHub Actions workflows, with strong understanding of secure CI/CD practices, including code signing, credential management and integrating security scans into pipelines.
• Strong understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities
• Knowledge in other web programming languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, Webpack, npm, Jest, Jasmine) is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools, particularly Adobe Analytics tagging implementation, is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Good communication and collaborative teamwork attitude.
