Job summary

Samsung SDS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled .NET web developer to design, develop, and secure scalable web applications and APIs on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, implement robust security, and maintain cloud services.

The role emphasizes CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, Agile teamwork, and delivering quality documentation and end-user training while staying current with web technologies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of web development working experience.
• Cloud development experience with Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Azure Storage).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions workflows, with secure CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with Python, Node.js, Webpack, npm, Jest, Jasmine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements.
• Design and develop scalable and secure .NET web applications (e.g. marketing systems, websites, microsites) and APIs.
• Maintain backend services and application components hosted in Azure.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions to automate deployment workflows for Azure-hosted applications.
• Maintain web application security by performing security scans, code review and implementing best practices in authentication, authorization, data protection and secure coding.
• Support cloud security inspection.
• Responsible for application integration testing, user acceptance test and implementation roll-out.
• Create user documentation and provide training to end-users.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for existing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development.
