Job summary

RHB Bank Singapore is seeking a Mortgage Sales professional to drive growth of the bank's retail mortgage assets and liabilities through strategic sales and advisory services. You will cultivate relationships with real estate agents, developers and clients to expand the mortgage book while upholding high advisory standards.

• Participate in sales and marketing activities to develop business and foster relationships.
• Provide sound mortgage advisory with high service standards before and after sales.
• Cross-sell opportunities and source high-net-worth clients for onboarding.
• Ensure proper advisory procedures and meticulous documentation in compliance with policies.
• Implement other tasks as assigned by management.

Job description

Primary Objective

• Drive and enhance the Bank’s business strategies for asset and liability growth through retail products.
• Foster self-development to effectively implement strategic initiatives that boost the retail asset and liability portfolio.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to achieve growth in retail loan assets and liabilities through targeted retail products.
• Identify and manage asset and liability exposures, ensuring minimal levels of non-performing loans in retail.
• Offer analytical insights to evaluate the financial impact of retail products and strategies on the Bank’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire new local mortgage through different channels or referrals.
• Utilise a combination of the Bank's branch network, tele-consulting and referrals to meet and exceed individual sales targets
• Build lasting relationships with real estate agencies, developers, solicitors and own personal network to generate referrals for the bank’s shelf of mortgage products.
• Participate in sales and marketing activities that are organised by bank or business partners to develop business and foster relationship.
• Provide sound mortgage advisory upheld by high standards of before and after sales services.
• Create opportunities to cross sell as well as to source for high NetWorth individual to be onboarded.
• Apply diligence and integrity to ensure proper advisory procedures and meticulous documentation in compliance with the Bank's internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirement.
• Any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.
