Job summary

ATOP Academy seeks Teaching Interns to support secondary school English, Chinese, Mathematics and Science programs based on the Singapore MOE syllabus. This internship offers practical teaching experience in a commercial school setting.

Interns will help plan and deliver lessons, mark assignments, monitor progress, and aid students in strengthening knowledge and exam skills. In-person work with opportunities for professional development and potential permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed a GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of English, Chinese, Mathematics or Science.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• An interest in teaching, education and working with secondary school students.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering lessons for secondary students in English, Chinese, Mathematics or Science.
• Support lessons aligned with MOE syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Mark assignments, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
• Help students strengthen subject knowledge and exam skills and confidence.
• Maintain a positive, supportive and disciplined learning environment.
• Assist in preparing worksheets, lesson notes, revision materials and practice questions.
• Participate in training, lesson preparation and other education-related activities.
• Uphold ATOP Academy's teaching standards, professional values and commitment to academic excellence.
