ATOP Academy seeks a Teaching Intern for Secondary School Science to assist in planning and delivering lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus. You will reinforce Biology, Chemistry and Physics concepts, mark work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students in a supportive learning environment.
The role welcomes those pursuing or who have completed a science-related degree or education qualification and who are passionate about science education.
Teaching Intern – Secondary School Science
Assist in planning and delivering engaging Science lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE Secondary Science syllabus.
Teach and reinforce key scientific concepts in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics according to the subjects and levels assigned.
Mark assignments, monitor students’ progress, and provide timely and constructive feedback.
Create a positive, engaging, supportive, and disciplined learning environment.
Assist in developing worksheets, lesson notes, revision materials, assessment questions, and examination-practice activities.
Uphold ATOP Academy’s teaching standards, values, and commitment to academic excellence.
Currently pursuing or having completed a GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
Strong knowledge and interest in Science, particularly Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Secondary Science syllabus and assessment requirements is an advantage.
Passion for Science, education, and working with secondary school students.
Prior teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or education-related experience is an advantage but is not required.

This position provides an opportunity for suitable candidates to gain practical teaching experience in a commercial school environment. Teaching interns will receive guidance and mentoring and may progressively take on greater teaching responsibilities based on their qualifications, subject knowledge, experience, and performance.
