Job summary

STEPSTONE EDUCATION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic educator to teach Science to primary and secondary students in small-group classes, delivering structured lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus.

You will prepare materials, assess progress, and provide feedback, while tracking student growth and communicating with parents as needed. A Bachelor’s degree in Science or Education and strong subject knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Science, Education or related discipline.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science.
• Ability to teach Primary and Secondary Science independently.
• Familiarity with Singapore MOE syllabus preferred.
• O-Level Chemistry and/or Physics ability advantageous.
• Prior tuition centre/small group teaching preferred.
• Responsible, patient, and able to communicate with students and parents.
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Singapore.
• Salary commensurate with qualifications and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science to Primary and Secondary students in small-group classes.
• Deliver structured lessons based on the Singapore MOE syllabus.
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, assessments and revision resources.
• Mark students’ work and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide learning recommendations.
• Communicate with parents regarding students’ progress when required.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
