Job summary

STEPSTONE EDUCATION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a qualified Science teacher to instruct Primary and Secondary students in small-group settings. You will deliver lessons aligned to the Singapore MOE syllabus and prepare materials, worksheets, and assessments.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Science or Education, with strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach both Primary and Secondary Science independently. Experience with O-Level Chemistry/Physics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Science, Education or related discipline.
• Strong subject knowledge in Science.
• Able to teach Primary Science and Secondary Science independently.
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE syllabus is preferred.
• Ability to teach O-Level Chemistry and/or Physics is a strong advantage.
• Prior tuition centre or small group teaching experience is preferred.
• Responsible, patient and able to communicate effectively with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science to Primary and Secondary students in small-group classes.
• Deliver structured and engaging lessons based on the Singapore MOE syllabus.
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, assessments and revision resources.
• Mark students' work and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide learning recommendations.
• Communicate with parents regarding students' progress when required.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
