Job summary

Game Reign is seeking a talented and experienced Game Designer to create a new mobile experience. This position will focus on the creative design of mobile content and you will be expected to wear many hats!

The ideal candidate will have extensive proven experience in game design, a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis, outstanding people skills, boundless creativity, extensive knowledge of the games, and a longstanding passion for playing games.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the game design process including level design, AI, controls, and UI.
• 1–2 years' game design experience or equivalent in the gaming industry.
• Degree or diploma in a related field.
• Ability to learn new tools quickly and implement ideas.
• Strong communication, self-direction, and team collaboration.
• Conversational Mandarin proficiency for business communication.

Responsibilities

• Design mobile game experiences applying core design principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features.
• Iterate on mechanics to engage and retain players.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Keep improving design through feedback and playtesting.
